To introduce and expand knowledge of basic principles for artificial lighting in architectural spaces from an engineer's perspective.
How do you know how much light will be required? What kind of lighting should be used? Where best to locate it? The aim of the CPD seminar is to give a basic understanding of lighting principles, terms, light output and colour. The Engineer will have refreshed and updated his knowledge on the broad area of artificial lighting. He will understand why the technical aspects of specifying lighting need also to give consideration to the overall architectural space and environmental influences.

Rocky Wall, MD of Wink Lighting. Originally trained as an electrician with DIT and went on to form the company "All Purpose Lighting" in the 80's, providing both lighting and electrical design, from concept to installation, including commissioning of projects. Wink Lighting formed in 2007 and are specialists in lighting. Rocky has over 25 years hands on experience and expert training with a passion for light and design.
