Training aim

Provide attendees with a clear understanding of their duties under the Legislation and provide them with the information needed to comply with these duties and responsibilities

Learning objectives

This one-day course is designed and presented to review the DSC Guidance Document and provide a structured review of its component elements in relation to the duties of the Permanent Works Designer (PWD).  The various sections are explained and practical examples along with case-studies are presented to demonstrate aspects of the guidance documents.

PCCE Training has also developed various templates that reflect the recommended method of information collection and dissemination.

Assessment & certification

There is a 45-min open-book test based on the Course material with a minimum of 60% required to attain a 'PASS' Award. Awards are from PCCE Training

All parties who are currently involved in any aspect Permanent Works Design should attend this course in order to continue to provide a service that will comply with the Health & Safety Regulations
