Training aim

The Aim of the course is to highlight the design considerations and safety requirements when automating revolving, swing, sliding folding doors & turnstiles. The course will highlight the options available.

Learning objectives

A better understanding off the safety features for automatic doors as required under EN16005.

Course outline

The course covers the relevant standards and their recommendations, the equipment needed to comply with the EN16005 standards. The course will cover energy efficiency, safety and security aspects of door & turnstile automation.
