To become a STEPS Volunteer Engineer and visit one of the registered classes in the STEPS Young Engineers Award you must attend ONE online training session. The training sessions are 1.5 hours and held on various dates in September.

This is a training session for engineers who would like to visit a class participating in the STEPS Young Engineers Award 2021.
This session is for anyone interested in volunteering with STEPS - you can attend this session with no obligation. At the end of the session you will receive a link to sign up. If you choose to sign up - you can opt in or out at any time.
All STEPS Volunteer Engineers MUST complete a STEPS online training workshop for the year of their visit. This is to ensure all our Volunteer Engineers have the latest information and resources for their visit, to uphold our Investing in Volunteers accreditation and to comply with our Child Safe-guarding policy.
In this session we will cover what is involved in a STEPS Young Engineers Award Volunteer Engineer school visit, our child protection policies and the latest STEPS resources available to support you on your visit. The session will be 1.5 hours with ample time for Q&A at the end, should you have any questions.
