Project Management

This four-day course is the first step in achieving PMP certification. We run this course with the Centre for Project Management, University of Limerick. Upon completion you can claim 35 hours of formal project management education, which is one of the prerequisites for sitting the PMP exam with the Project Management Institute.

Step 2

PMP exam preparation course

This course provides a walk-through of the PMBOK® knowledge and process areas. The three-day course will help you to prepare to sit the PMP exam with the Project Management Institute. It will also guide you through a sample exam so you are familiar with the types of questions that appear.

Step 3

PMP exam

To apply for the PMP exam you must hold a four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects. Alternatively, you can hold a secondary diploma with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects. Both paths require 35 hours of project management education, which you will earn by attending the Project Management Modular Course.
