How can I reset my password?

When you go to log in, select ‘I forgot my password’ and we will send you an automated email with a link to allow you to reset your password.

What is my username?

Your username is your membership number or the primary email address you used to register with us. If you do not remember which email address is associated with your account, contact webeditor@engineersireland.ie with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Membership number
  • Date of birth

What’s on my member dashboard?

You can manage many aspects of your membership with us through your online member dashboard. Here are some of the features available.

  • My profile: Here you can update your personal details such as your email address, postal address and employer.
  • My CPD: This is your online CPD recording facility, where you can track your progress towards your annual 35 hour CPD requirement. You can see proposed events that you may wish to add to your CPD record and declare your CPD activities at the end of the year.
  • My events: You will find a personalised list of events coming up in Engineers Ireland that may be of interest to you. You can also add an event you are running (e.g. a site visit) that may be of interest to Engineers Ireland members.
  • My preferences: We show you online content and send you communications that are personalised to your preferences. Manage what disciplines of engineering you would like to see more of directly from your member dashboard.
  • My jobs: If you come across a job that is of interest to you on our Jobs Desk, you can save it to your member dashboard so you can apply for it at a later stage.
  • My professional title: See which registered professional title you are eligible to apply for and begin the application process from your member dashboard.

How can I access my member dashboard?

Click ‘Members’ area’ on the top right hand side of the screen and log in using your membership number/email address and password.

The features on my member dashboard are disabled. How can I access them?

If the features of your member dashboard are disabled, it could be for one of the following reasons:

  • Your membership has lapsed. Renew your membership to gain access.
  • You did not complete your membership application with us. You will see a ‘Complete your membership application’ option on your dashboard when you log in.
  • Your membership application is pending and has to be approved by our Membership and Qualifications Board. We will send you an email when your membership has been approved and you have full access to the dashboard.

Can I use the Engineers Ireland logo on my website?

The use of the Engineers Ireland logo is reserved for our Corporate Partner member companies. Learn more about becoming a Corporate Partner.

Where can I view lecture webcasts?

You can view recorded lectures and live webcasts through Engineers TV. If you miss a live webcast, you can usually find it on our Engineers TV archive 10 working days after it took place.

Please note that some of our presenters do not give consent for webcasts to be published on Engineers TV. Contact sectorsupport@engineersireland.ie if you cannot find a webcast.

I am not receiving emails from Engineers Ireland. How can I opt in?

Opt in to receive communications from Engineers Ireland on your member dashboard under 'My preferences'. If you are already opted in but are still not receiving emails, this could be to do with your company's firewall settings. Ask your IT provider to ensure that emails from @engineersireland.ie addresses are whitelisted, or update your primary email to your personal email address.

What is the employer dashboard?

The Engineers Ireland employer dashboard allows company representatives to manage their Engineers Ireland payments, invoices and recruitment services in one convenient online area. Find out more.

How can I access the employer dashboard?

If your company does not have an employer dashboard account, contact our Membership team on membership@engineersireland.ie for a username and password.

How can I find relevant information on Engineers Ireland's website?

Engineers Ireland's website offers a search function that can be used to search for specific topics, events, or publications. Additionally, the website is organized into different sections and pages that are related to various engineering fields and interests. You can also explore the website's news section to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the engineering industry.

Why am I not receiving my verification email, and what should I do if I haven't received it?

If you are having trouble receiving your verification email, please check your spam folder in your email account. If the verification email is not in your spam folder, please email webeditor@engineersireland.ie for assistance.

The confirmation code for joining Engineers Ireland is not working. What steps can I take to fix this issue and complete my registration successfully?

If the confirmation code is not working, please email membership@engineersireland.ie for assistance. They will be able to help you with any issues you may have.

As a registered student, I am unable to log into my account. How can I access my account, and what should I do if I continue to have issues logging in?
