Training aim

To give participants an overview of the implications of ECOdesign directive 2009/125 as it applies to AHU's in Europe fron January 2016.

Learning objectives

To enable the participants to correctly specify AHU's on the Irish and European markets in compliance with the Directive.

Course outline

The topics covered include AHU design requirements to comply with the Directive including the Directives on Electrical Motors (640/2009), Fan Directive ( 327/2011) and Directive Ventilation Products (1253/2014)

Trainer's profile

Trainer has worked in the HVAC industry since 1977 following graduation from Bolton Street Collece of Technology, working as a design/project engineer with various contractors and consultants before moving into equipment sales in 1991.
