Training aim
Module 1 and 2: Competence training for people involved in resin flooring design, upgrading and maintenance under consideration of special industry requirements in these sectors.
Learning objectives
Module 1:
Theory, Requirements and Standards in particular for ESD- and anti-static systems, earthing details, application details, system build up, testing, aesthetics, cleanability and service / maintenance
Module 2:
Knowledge build-up on general flooring requirements and planning considerations, substrates and preparation, systems and system build-up, life expectations and limitations, aesthetics, skid resistance and cleanability, bund lining, detailing, joints and cracks in floors, etc.
Course outline
Resin flooring systems are widely used in all kinds of industries, fulfilling various requirements, depending on the floor use. There are particular industry requirements and standards for Ireland's leading industries, i.e. Electronics, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, i.e.: Durability, chemical resistance, cleanability / decontamination, safe discharge for EPA's, explosion risk control, etc.
Trainer's profile
Steve McCormack: Graduate of Bolton St in Civil Engineering and a Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College. The General Manager of Ireland & UK for MC-Building Chemicals. With 16 years of knowledge of applying and supplying specialist technological systems for Concrete Protection and Repair; Industrial Flooring and Crack Injection Technology and Waterproofing.
