Grant works closely with mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineers across the country to ensure heating systems are not just compliant, but efficient and built to last.

Support provided by the heating technology manufacturer includes a free heating design and specification service where engineers work with Grant’s technical specialists to ensure their projects benefit from a fully integrated heating solution, featuring correctly sized and specified sustainable heating technologies. This, in turn, helps engineers save valuable time and maximises efficiency and long-term cost savings for the property owner.

Tailored, room-by-room planning solution

Grant’s Heating Design Service is free of charge and offers a tailored, room-by-room planning solution that includes in-depth heat loss calculations in line with S.R 50 / MCS requirements, full system layouts, and guidance on the most suitable main heat source, heat emitters and smart controls.

Furthermore, the service supports collaboration with engineers by offering accurate system drawings and performance data to aid in Part L of the building regulations and NZEB compliance.

With time and budget pressures common on projects, this service from Grant helps to provide specialist support and a holistic approach which takes into consideration the requirements of the whole building from a heating and efficiency perspective.

Ongoing technical support

Grant’s involvement doesn’t end at sizing and specification, the team offers ongoing technical support throughout the project, and commission each of the heat pumps installed at no extra cost, also providing instructions on operation. This approach helps protect the integrity of the heating system and is included as part of Grant’s aftercare service.

Grant supports ongoing performance of its heating systems through annual maintenance guidance, such as ACF50 treatment for coastal locations, and provides ongoing professional training and support to ensure system longevity. This helps to protect the long-term efficiency of technologies including the Grant Aerona R290 air to water, air source heat pump, which is the main heat source most specified for new build properties or developments.

For M&E professionals looking to design compliant, efficient, and future-proof heating systems, partnering with Grant means access to personalised design tools, specialist technical knowledge, and reliable aftercare.
