This year's show offers a unique virtual one-stop-shop to accelerate Ireland towards a cleaner energy future. Online visitors can choose from a selection of more than 40 expert briefings, panel discussions, case study interviews and video tutorials over the two days.

Wednesday’s programme will focus on upgrading Ireland’s building stock and is a must for businesses in the supply chain and professionals delivering building energy upgrades. Day two will explore the pathway to net-zero emissions for businesses and the public sector.

 

Sessions

Upgrading our Building Stock – The challenges and opportunities

William Walsh, CEO of SEAI, will give a keynote address on ambitions for upgrading Ireland’s building stock. The session will also feature a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities with upgrading our homes and buildings to targeted energy efficiency standards. The panel will feature experts from SEAI, ESB Heat, CIBSE, National Insulation Association and the Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht. 

Building the Energy Upgrade Supply Chain

Online visitors will hear from the Heat Pump Association of Ireland on meeting the challenge of 400,000 heat pumps installed by 2030. Contractors and architects will also discuss what skills are needed to deliver on Ireland’s ambitious building energy upgrade targets.

Pathway to Net Zero

The first session of the day two of the Energy Show will be chaired by Business Post journalist, Daniel Murray, and bring together representatives from the worlds of business and the public sector to discuss the pathway to net zero.

Inspirational climate leadership

This session will feature a live Q&A with two businesses who are leading the way on climate action. Ian Ryan from Wyeth Nutrition and Shaun McKevitt, MD from Terra Spirits and Liquers will share insights from their decarbonisation journeys.
