Dublin:  30 of November at 8:30 a.m. Aviva Stadium, Dublin Cork:  1st of December at 8:30 a.m. Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island, Cork Irish Concrete Society Technical Seminars 17/18 The negative effects of placing concrete in cold weather are well established. Concrete can be damaged to such an extent that it is unfit for use, has a lower strength development or a reduced durability. Therefore, it is important that precautions are taken to ensure that the performance of the Concrete is not unduly affected. In this seminar we will deal with the practical aspects of successfully placing concrete during cold weather. We will also look at the damage caused by freezethaw cycles and how to specify our concrete to resist them. There will be plenty of opportunities to network during the morning and to ask questions during our discussion time.

This seminar will be of interest to Local Authority Engineers, Consultant Engineers, Main Contractors, Specialist Sub-Contractors, Materials Producers and all who are responsible for concrete construction. Clients may also find this seminar useful.
