The Association of Consulting Engineers in Ireland (ACEI) and Engineers Ireland, in partnership with Construction Safety Week 2016, are set to host a Construction Health & Safety Seminar on Wednesday, 14 September. The event will run from 6:30pm to 8pm and will take place in Engineers Ireland HQ in 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Speakers at the seminar will include:

• Michael McDonagh, inspector, Health and Safety Authority Common health and safety issues found on construction sites and recent accident trends
• Sarah Conroy, partner, Beale & Company Recent case law in Ireland and the UK in relation to construction safety
• Dr Niall Holmes, assistant head, School of Civil & Structural Engineering ACEI course accreditation in DIT Masters of Engineering in Sustainable Infrastructure
