The Annual Irish Renewable Energy Summit provides a valuable opportunity to bring together the key stakeholders from across the energy sector  and those who interact with it to discuss how the contribution from renewable energy can be maximised and implemented most effectively.

Although there are a number of events on individual types of renewable energy, previous Renewable Energy Summits have demonstrated the need for a single event that brings together the whole renewable sector and, importantly, brings in the wider energy audience.

The 2021 online Summit comes at pivotal time, as the Programme for Government will see a step change in the development of renewables over the coming decade. This is reflected in the summit programme content:

Key themes for 2020:

  1. Pathways to 7% GHG reduction ambition and role of renewable energy technologies
  2. Realising offshore wind target of 5GW by 2030
