The Irish Retrofitting Conference 2021, in partnership with SEAI and sponsored by SSE Airtricity, takes place online on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Energy Ireland, in partnership with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, will hold a national conference to look at various aspects of Ireland’s deep retrofitting programme.

The Programme for Government pledges to develop a new area-based and one-stop-shop approach to retrofitting to upgrade at least 500,000 homes to a B2 energy rating by 2030.

Additionally, the programme has the objective of retrofitting public buildings. SEAI has been designated the National Retrofitting Delivery Body by the Government and will be the main body charged with delivering this ambitious programme which is a €5 billion national investment.

This online conference will bring together all the key stakeholders involved in delivering the National retrofitting programme and will look at the various aspects of the programme including the financing of retrofitting, the development of the supply chain and at the different elements of the programme.
