Reilly Plastics is a high-performance and commodity engineering plastics supply company based in Navan, Co Meath. The business was established in the early 1990s by Geraldine Reilly and supplied plastics to a wide and varied customer base such as food processing and engineering and manufacturing firms. Supplying a high-quality product with perfection and attention to detail was a key factor for the success of this business.

In November 2020 Reilly Plastics was acquired by GPMI. They supply a range of plastics such as Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PET, PETG, Polystyrene & PP into the Sign & Display and industrial Industries.

Again, quality and service is at the forefront of their business. The acquisition off Reilly Plastics allows them to offer a greater product range and service to their existing and loyal customer base. It also represents further diversification for GPMI and makes them the largest independent plastic sheet supplier in Ireland.

Bernard Hoey was appointed as general manager in Reilly Plastics. He has over 20 year’s experience in the plastics and distribution industry. His focus is on expanding the business across all areas of the industry and continuing to provide the same excellent service.

Reilly Plastics will be moving to a new 10000sq/ft site in the summer and are adding new cutting facilities which will offer a faster turnaround and improve their cutting efficiency in certain areas.

They supply the conveyor, food, agricultural, aviation, medical/pharma, mechanical markets.

They stock a diverse range of plate, sheet, rod and rolls. Reilly Plastics offer customers a cutting service so can provide customers with a bespoke product solution which they deliver nation wide each day.

They supply HMW-PE 500 various thicknesses and colours of which suit many applications within the food industry due to products FDA Approval certification. This product is used for bespoke plastic chopping board or counter/Table tops etc.

They also supply UHMW-PE 1000 for Conveyor industry. This product works very well as a wear strips due to its good sliding properties which in hand will increase the capability and performances of the machines, using less energy and minimising downtime.

When it comes to precision engineering they offer Acetal POM-C both rod and plate, this copolymer Acetal is an engineering plastic used for a wide range of applications in many industries such as medical, food etc due to its high mechanical strengths, low moisture absorption and excellent machine ability, again they can provide FDA Approval certification if required.
