Keane now brings all of this expertise to his new automotive consultancy; www.mikekeane.ie. When unveiling the company, he collaborated with the Irish transport history website, IrelandMade.ie to release a new automotive podcast ‘Talking The Talk’ –  the first episode went live on May 2.

Every two weeks, IrelandMade host Kevin Reid will interview Keane about the history of a particular piece of automotive technology.

In the first episode they discussed the history of aerodynamics. Keane spoke about Eamon Ryan’s recent suggestion of reducing speed to combat fuel prices, and showed how the physics of aerodynamics confirmed it.
