Output Sports, a University College Dublin (UCD) spin-out and an Enterprise Ireland client company, is now doubling down on its US focus to accelerate its mission of making elite level sports-science simple and scalable.

The company recently established a new office in Boston and co-founder and CEO, Dr Martin O'Reilly has also relocated from Ireland to Boston to further build Output's US growth team which includes five new US hires to date. Former Leinster and Ireland rugby player Adam Byrne was earlier this year appointed as Output Sports’ commercial manager for North America.

Dr Martin O’Reilly, CEO and co-founder, said: “Since the launch of our V2 product we have seen tremendous growth in the USA with product usage across elite sport, education settings and gyms.

"It is an incredibly exciting time for us at Output as we double down on the US opportunity, and it is a privilege to have this recognised as part of this week’s US St. Patrick’s events. I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Enterprise Ireland for their continuing support both here in the States and in Ireland.”

Output Sports, headquartered at NovaUCD in Dublin was co-founded in 2018 by Dr Martin O'Reilly, Dr Darragh Whelan, Julian Eberle and Professor Brian Caulfield as a spin-out from the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science and the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics following the completion of Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Funding.
