Three schools in the College of Engineering and Architecture in University College Dublin (UCD) are celebrating their centenary in 2019. These are the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering and the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. To mark the event, the schools will host a black-tie dinner in the O’Reilly Hall in UCD, which will be hosted by the president of UCD, Professor Andrew Deeks. There will be a drinks reception, three-course meal, wine and entertainment, and plenty of time to chat and catch up with old class mates. It will also be a chance to network with engineering colleagues and companies, like Deloitte, Xilinx and others. Each attendee will also receive a book about UCD engineering, its past and its future, specially produced to mark this important date. I hope you will come back and relive and reminisce about your UCD days!! Tickets are selling fast but are available at https://bit.ly/2FolMYQ There are discounted tickets for students and recent alumni. If you include your year of graduation and discipline, we will ensure the class mates are seated together! It is also possible for groups of class mates to purchase tables by buying 10 tickets. Sponsorship packages are also available for companies.
