The Midland Region provides a network for members based in Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, and Laois, from all sectors of the industry. The Region hosts a number of CPD events throughout the year including technical talks and social events offering members an opportunity to connect with their peers, share expertise and build professional relationships across the engineering community.

Some of the events hosted by the Midland Region include:
- Site visit to Kiernan Steel Ltd. and webinars on topics such as “Harnessing the Power of Vortex Flows: Applications in Stormwater Control and Wastewater Treatment.”
- Social events included the Region’s Golf outings and Midland Region Annual Ball
