Happy International Women’s Day 2023!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Engineers Ireland Women in Engineering Group for their work to promote and support Ireland's current and future engineering talent and their support and encouragement to female engineers who are considering a return to the workforce.

We are asking all members to show your support for equity within the profession. Get involved by following the Women in Engineering Group and visit our website to find out more about our committee and their work.

As part of our celebration of International Women's Day, Engineers Ireland’s Starting Your Career webinar series will focus on the topic of Women in Engineering. Join us for an engaging discussion with female engineers at different stages of their engineering journey as they share their background, challenges and successes, and insights to creating greater gender diversity in engineering. This event will be hosted by Student Ambassador and TUS Limerick Electrical Energy Engineering Student Rosangela Condori. Register now to attend this event.

Additionally, as part of our STEPS Engineers Week celebrations, Engineers Ireland, with the support of Intel Ireland, will host over 400 primary school students in Maynooth University today. Students will get the opportunity to explore the role of engineering in sport with leading STEM performer, Mark Langtry.
