Over 1,000 new jobs are to be created as part of plans to upgrade the N7 and N11 roads networks, according to a report in the Irish Times. A contract signed by BAM Contractors with the National Roads Authority worth €282 million will include work on a 16km dual carriage way on the N11 linking the end of the Arklow bypass. The N7 works will include a free-flow junction to replace the signalised junction at Newlands cross, and a flyover at the Belgard road.
