Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Project – Tuesday, 22 February 2022 at 1:00pm

The Project Management society and the Civil division will co-host a webinar on Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Project on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 at 1:00pm. Undertaken by Irish Water, this project ended the decades-long practice of discharging raw sewage directly into Cork Harbour. Speaking at this webinar is Déaglán Healy, a certified Project Manager with Ervia, representing Irish Water on all stages of the project.  Déaglán will discuss the project management tools and techniques that were successfully used to manage this project. They will present TfL’s energy strategy and wider carbon targets and show how feasible it is to capture heat from London Underground ventilation shafts and distribute it to nearby heating demands.
