Biomarker services company Synexa Life Sciences is to locate its international headquarters in Dublin, creating up to 30 new jobs in the next five years. A new bioinformatics lap will be built in the city. Tánaiste and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Frances Fitzgerald T.D. said it sas a "great win for Ireland, bringing high quality jobs involving cutting-edge science and research for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry and will help drive the development of new products by the industry". Synexa offers expertise in biomarker selection and panel design for each phase of clinical development. Their biomarker programs are tailor-made to clients' needs, usually involving considerable up-front scientific collaboration. They operate in Berlin, London and Cape Town as well as Dublin.
