The North West Region serves members based in Sligo and Leitrim, representing all sectors of the industry. The Region is run by a committee of volunteers and provides members with a platform for engagement and career development. Members can connect with their peers through CPD technical talks, social and sporting events. These activities support members in creating networking opportunities and strengthening the engineering community in the Region and includes links with the Atlantic Technology University.

Some of the events held by the North West Region include:
- Technical events on “3D Printing of Houses” and “Transforming Engineering Education with Immersive Technology.”
- Social events such as the Annual Golf event, The Jennings O’Donovan Cup
