The Water and Environment Society is for engineers with an interest in the environmental and water aspects of civil engineering. The Society holds monthly events, including but not limited to webinars, networking events and site visits. We also aim to hold an annual, in-person seminar in Engineers Ireland, Clyde Road.
Our committee meets monthly, and all new members are welcome to join. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch.
Some recent Water and Environment Society events include:
- Webinars on topics such as “Towards a Circular Economy of Water in Ireland,” and “Sustainable Road Maintenance Planning Using Connected Vehicle Data.”
- Site visits to Boherbue Wastewater Treatment Plant, the MaREI Centre, and the National Maritime College of Ireland, Ringaskiddy.
