Mainline Group has been awarded the much sought after CPD Accredited Employer Standard by Engineers Ireland in recognition of their continuing professional development (CPD) strategy.

Mainline is a leading engineering solutions provider operating in Ireland, the UK and Scandinavia, providing a wide range of services from the design and build of substations and grid connections, to construction of airside aviation infrastructure, to turnkey grid connected renewable energy solutions. 

With offices in Dublin and Cork, the company believes that CPD encompasses not only training but all forms of learning and has recently implemented a learning and development model based on the 70-20-10 model, where individuals learn 70% of their knowledge from challenging experiences and assignments, 20% from developmental relationships and 10% from coursework and training.  Mainline has utilised this model for all employees, most recently investing significantly in placement students and graduate new hires with a view to growing their internal talent pool.
