PPP project to deliver five STEM and learning facilities at five campuses nationwide begins

BAM has officially commenced construction on the second bundle of facilities in the Higher Education PPP Programme, a transformative initiative that will deliver state-of-the-art educational facilities across Ireland.

This project is being delivered in partnership with Invesis, with BAM as the design and construction contractor and BAM FM providing long-term facilities management.

Contemporary teaching, learning, and research environments

The Higher Education PPP Programme involves the development of modern buildings and facilities for multiple third-level institutions, designed to support contemporary teaching, learning, and research environments.

Alasdair Henderson, executive director of BAM Ireland, said: “This project reflects our commitment to building a better Ireland through purposeful, sustainable construction. By expanding capacity and delivering modern, inclusive facilities, this project will enable more students to access high-quality education while also enriching the communities these institutions serve.”

Delivered under the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science PPP programme, the project is expected to generate significant economic and social value throughout its lifecycle, supporting local communities and contributing to Ireland’s long-term educational goals.
