Rowan Engineering Consultants awarded Engineers Ireland’s CPD Accredited Employer Standard


Rowan Engineering Consultants has been awarded the much sought after CPD Accredited Employer Standard by Engineers Ireland in recognition of its continuing professional development (CPD) strategy.

Founded in 1998 by Tom Rowan, the multi-disciplinary company specialises in forensic engineering and environmental & sustainability consultancy. With offices in Trim, Co. Meath, Oranmore, Co. Galway and the Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin, Rowan’s engineers and scientists provide a wide range of expertise to clients throughout Ireland and Europe.

At the CPD accreditation parchment presentation at Rowan’s headquarters in Trim, Co. Meath, Tom Rowan, Managing Director of Rowan, stated: “We are delighted to achieve the Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer Standard. The continuing professional development programme will provide the framework to support our existing culture to continuously develop our team’s skills, competencies, and knowledge. This in turn provides our clients with the confidence that Rowan can assist them to achieve their environmental, sustainability and forensic goals."

Commenting on the importance of the CPD Accredited Employer Standard, Stephen Flood, Forensic Director at Rowan, added: “This accreditation will enable Rowan to continually raise our standards and provide our team with a challenging and rewarding working environment.
