Rob Goodbody, who has recently revised Irish Stone Bridges: History and Heritage (written by Peter O’Keeffe and Tom Simington) is set to give a talk on 'Stone Bridges of the Dublin Area' at the monthly meeting of the Rathmichael Historical Society on December 7 at 8pm in Rathmichael School Hall, Stonebridge Road, Shankill, Co Dublin. A detailed article on the book was featured in a recent edition of the Engineers Journal and is available to read here. After the talk, Irish Academic Press, the publishers of the book, will host a celebration of the revised edition and copies will be available for sale.
