The aim of the course is to outline to attendees the basic overview of Air to Water Heat installations

Learning objectives

The primary learning objectives of the course are to gain knowledge on what air to water air source heat pumps are, why you would install one, how they work, various types available on the market, performance of the heat pump, how to calculate heat loss in a property, servicing, and maintenance and how to meet Part L compliance.

Course outline

This training course covers the basic principles of how a Air to Water Heat Pump operates, the system design considerations, their installation and commissioning. Also included are full details of the control system, the options, operation, installation and set-up.

Michael Geary - Technical Sales Manager

Michael has been working in the heating and plumbing trade for over 25 years, working in both the domestic and industrial sectors. Since joining Pipelife back in 2005, Michael has been involved in technical sales, product commissioning, installer and merchant product training, as well as developing new training courses on new products. CPD training for architects, engineers and energy assessors is also part of his remit.
