Training aim

The Standards training will provide; An in-depth review of the IS3217:2013+A1:2017 Standard, identifying particular locations and the recommended Lux levels and response times for those locations.

Course outline

The courses/training provides the emergency lighting designer with laid down guide lines which form the general basis for the designer to work to Irish Standard IS3217:2013+A1:2017, overall knowledge about testing systems, and in-depth information about Static Inverters and their function. 

Trainer's profile

Ian Murphy is currently the R&D Manager of Ventilux Limited. He has 31 years of electrical and electronic design experience and specifically 22 years in the emergency lighting field. He holds a BEng (hons) in Electrical and Electronic Design and a Diploma in Industrial Studies. He has lead the company in achieving BSI Certification for our products, he has also contributed enormously to get ISO accredited, and has been the main trainer for all our staff in the fields mentioned in every course.
