As the booming in EV market and new applications in UPS and battery storage in Data Centre industry, Lithium battery has become a hot topic in the last few years. This course is to introduce Lithium battery market trends, the product and solutions application in Data Centre industry, the system reliability design and battery recycling.   This course is aimed to engineers who participate Data Centre electrical system design and build, in order to help them have general understandings about Lithium battery products. 

Learning objectives 

1. LFP has both the highest thermal stability and the highest stability during overcharge, comparing to NCM/LMO/LCO

2. Lithium battery management system is much more important and will decide the system reliability;

3. Integrated firefighting system can provide extra protection and can cool down battery temperature before thermal runaway;

4. Water spray system is suggested to be considered in Lithium battery fire fighting system design;

5. Lithium can be recycled and now recycle rate can reach up to 98%.
