This course will help you learn how to effectively use the Microsoft Access programme and be able to confidently work with the package in a business setting.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course you will be able to start, build, update and maintain a database competently within this popular programme, to Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) level.

Course outline

This detailed and varied training programme will guide you through many aspects of Access including; database terminology; planning and design; defining relationships and creating a table; editing data; using advanced tools; using the query wizard; adding a field; exporting an html document; adding charts to forms; and creating macros.

All Trainers in each centre have acquired the necessary skills for Pitman Training courseware delivery and student support including all aspects of exam invigilation.  All Pitman Training self-paced courseware is prepared and tested in both the UK and Ireland to meet CPD specifications in terms of content, learning objectives, delivery process and certification.

Course duration

20 to 22 hours, self-paced flexible learning.

Assessment & certification

Pitman Training Certification is included.  Students can also take the MOS Access exam for an additional fee.
