Shorcontrol Safety is a safety company specialising in safety and environmental training, alongside selling, hiring & calibrating confined space and working at heights equipment. Shorcontrol Safety is FETAC registered and delivers variety of  training courses, accredited to FETAC, IOSH, IOA, RoSPA, NEBOSH, BOHS, RSA and WJA.

Training aim

This course is designed for individuals who are required to work in excavations. It will give them training in the selection and use of proprietary trench support systems and equipment.

Trainer's profile

Chisco Rruiz BaSC MEnf, MIEI With extensive site and office based contract administration, Chisco has practiced engineering in Canada Spain, UK and Ireland . With an MEng in geotechnics (2001) at UCD he has worked on major foundations projects and soil retention projects including,  (High speed rail, power plants, chemical processing plants, port expansions) across Spain and Ireland. On taking up his current position with TCL Chisco has worked predominantly as principal designer Supervising.
