Environment Ireland®, now in its 11th year, is Ireland’s leading annual conference on environmental policy and management. The 2015 conference will take place on Wednesday, September 16, at Croke Park and is organised in association with the EPA and the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government. Alongside the visiting experts, Environment Ireland is addressed every year by the key people in Ireland's environmental policy landscape.  Ensure you don't miss out on the opportunity to hear directly from those individuals and organisations shaping the future of Ireland's environment on their priorities for delivering a cleaner, greener environment which supports sustainable economic growth. Environment Ireland will be opened with ministerial addresses from Alan Kelly TD and Mark H Durkan MLA who will outline their priorities for Ireland’s sustainable future. During the opening session delegates will also hear from Jock Martin, European Environment Agency, and the director-general of the EPA, Laura Burke. Key themes for 2015 include:

  • Environmental policy;
  • Sustainable water management;
  • Climate change;
  • Waste and resource efficiency;
  • Natural capital and ecosystem management;
  • Planning and community engagement.
Delegates will also be able to put their questions directly to representatives of the main political parties who will share their party’s environmental policies and thoughts for the future during the political panel discussion.
