The CPD Accredited Employer Standard is designed to help organisations enhance the skills of their engineering professionals, developing employees who are agile and adaptable, creating a workforce that is encouraged to create and innovate, and develop new solutions. Organisations that have achieved the Standard may find they are better placed to deal with change and disruption and attract and retain talent.

The organisation has embraced Engineers Ireland's approach and ethos to CPD through structured professional development programmes, technical knowledge sharing, and the recent introduction of two internship positions for third-year engineering students from South East Technological University (SETU).

Speaking, following the award of the Standard, Tom Dunne, Managing Director, FLI Precast Solutions commented: “Achieving CPD Accredited Employer status through Engineers Ireland is an important milestone for FLI Precast Solutions and reflects our continued commitment to engineering excellence, professional development and investing in our people. As our business continues to grow across critical infrastructure sectors, including data, energy and water, we recognise that developing and supporting engineering talent is fundamental to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for our clients. This accreditation reinforces the culture of continuous improvement and technical learning that exists throughout our organisation.”

Damien Owens, Director General of Engineers Ireland, added: “By fostering an environment of continuous growth, learning and development, FLI Precast Solutions is ensuring its engineers realise their full potential. It now joins the leading private and public sector organisations that have been awarded the Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer Standard.”
