Making a complaint

If you are unsatisfied by the work carried out by a member of Engineers Ireland, please follow these steps:

Make sure they’re a member by clicking the membership search link (below), calling the office or emailing us.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our staff are working remotely. As such, complaint forms should be submitted via email. In the complaint form, please outline what gave rise to the complaint, what clause(s) of our code the member has allegedly breached and detail any legal proceedings relating to the matter. 

Include copies of any relevant supporting documents and send them to the following address: ethics@engineersireland.ie.

It should be noted that the complaint will be forwarded to the member concerned for a response. Engineers Ireland cannot deal with complaints against non-members.
