The course will introduce attendees to the Irish BIM Mandate & ISO19650. To include Naming Standards, Classification, Project Information Requirements, BIM Documentation, Common data environment, asset information requirements and digital transformation in the context of ISO19650.

Learning outcomes & objectives
After the course participants should be able to :
- Understand ISO19650 suite of documents.
- Explain ISO19650 and the Irish BIM Mandate.
- Assess their role & deliverables within a BIM project.
- Understand BIM Documentation & Terminology – BEP, EIR, OIR, PIR etc.
- Create a CDE to ISO19650 standards.

Trainer profile
Jonathan Brookfield EngTech MICE – Technical Consultant with NTI Diatec. Jonathan worked for design consultancies as a BIM Manager, helping to deliver digital transformation for organisations and public sector frameworks.
Matthew Smith, Technical Consultant, is a CIAT-registered Architectural Technologist with extensive experience delivering commercial projects from early concept design through to completion and handover. Working in project management roles, he has led design coordination meetings and maintained a regular presence on active sites, giving him a grounded, practical understanding of how information moves, and where it breaks down, across the full project lifecycle.
As an Autodesk Certified Professional and Instructor, he delivers training and ongoing support across a range of Autodesk products. As a BSI-qualified ISO 19650 Implementation Practitioner, he supports organisations through the process of achieving ISO 19650 certification.
He brings broad experience helping companies adopt and embed a Common Data Environment (CDE), and guiding them through the change management required to align working practices with current ISO 19650 standards, combining technical platform knowledge with a practical understanding of how that change lands on real projects and real teams.
