Our nine engineering societies represent special interest groups within the engineering disciplines.

  • The mission of the Academic society is to promote the advancement of academic standards in engineering and facilitate and organise activites for key academic groups.

  • Is é An Roth an fo-ghrúpa de Chumann na nInnealtóirí a phléann le cúrsaí innealtóireachta trí mheán na Gaeilge.

  • The Geotechnical Society of Ireland is a special interest group for engineers who work in this field.

  • The Heritage society is a special interest group for members who share an interest in the history of engineering.

  • The MEETA society is a special interest group for engineers who work in maintenance and asset management. Members can access relevant events and networking opportunities with peers and associated industry groups.

  • The Project Management society is a special interest group for engineers who are involved in project management.

  • The Roads and Transportation society is a special interest group for engineers working in this area.

  • The Water and Environmental engineering society is a special interest group for water and environmental engineers.

  • The Young Engineers society is a special interest group for young members of Engineers Ireland.
