Guidewire Software anticipates hiring between 60 and 80 staff over the next two years as part of the expansion of its Dublin Software Centre.
The company already employs more than 150 people at its Global Services and Development Centre in Dublin and will require the leasing of additional office space to handle its growing Irish operations. This expansion will position Guidewire Software Ireland as its largest office outside of the U.S.
Guidewire Software, a global provider of software products to the insurance industry, requires the additional staff to provide consultancy support and product development resources to some of its 180 customers worldwide.
Chief executive officer, Marcus Ryu, said the company has been impressed with the quality of talent and the output from its Dublin office. He described its decision to start operations in Dublin as “one of the best we have made in recent years”.
“We intend to build on that success with a significant increase in our hiring plans and a deeper integration of our Dublin-based personnel into the career progression opportunities of the company, especially in Europe,” he concluded.
Recruitment activity is already underway to fill the newly created positions. The company are now actively recruiting software engineers and developers, automation QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers and technical consultants.
