Engineers Ireland Essential Skills Insights Series, is a suite of complimentary webinars for members.

The aim of the webinars is to support members in their development of key competencies which will assist them in their current roles and progression towards future roles.

This free series will include interactive webinars, delivered by our experienced trainers and subject-matter-experts in areas such as leadership and management, negotiating and influencing skills, time management and prioritisation, communication and presentation skills, problem solving and Microsoft Office applications.

The number of people aged 65 and over is projected to increase from 2011 to 2041 by 160 per cent. As a proportion of the population, this represents an increase from 11.4 per cent in 2011 to 22.4 per cent in 2041 (The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA)). Age Friendly Ireland’s vision is to make Ireland a great country in which to grow old.

Established in 2018 as a shared service function of the local government sector Age Friendly Ireland coordinates the national Age Friendly Cities and Counties Programme.
